Forging A Foothold In The Galaxy

There truly is no ceiling when it comes to botanicals. We can mix, match, infuse, and distill from from the world around us around us infinitely. 

From my little house in Toronto, Canada I am getting my hands on some of the most exquisite plant absolutes, essential oils, and cold pressed oils that I have ever dealt with.

Yesterday I smelt true, high quality sandalwood for the first time. Not synthetic, not a lesser wood, not even a lesser ring from the sandalwood tree - true sandalwood heartwood.

My day was charged with such ardor afterwards. I paid a pretty penny for real sandalwood, or course, but I just kept thinking how worth it is to smell something so pure and complex, that gives evokes the environment from whence it came. It transported me to sandalwood groves I hope one day to visit, but have not yet been able.

When I first started playing around with essences I didn't realize the full scale of what I was getting myself into. This craft has an infinite potential with the myriad of blends, concentrations, infusions, and choice when it comes to plant-based extracts from all over the world. 

I have only just scraped a tiny ice cube off of a great Arctic glacier, and I might as well stir it into my cocktail. Let me enjoy it. 

As I slowly build my website & social media, I am also building my current collection and capabilities to supply these botanicals to you all. It feels daunting and exciting at the same time. 

I have 3 solid 'Potions' available (an additional 2 have already sold out) which are carefully chosen blends of raw botanical oils and infusions. Each ingredient I have chosen for these potions is tested, proportioned, and measured to ensure the skin absolutely eats it up. They are also aromatherapy experiences, not too strong, that make them usable every day for moisturization and a bit of fun. 

Soon, we'll have one of the largest botanical libraries in the world. 

A galaxy awaits.
