Limeys Lime

Lime originated in Southeast Asia and was spread through the Middle East and Mediterranean by traders and explorers, eventually reaching the Americas. 

Historically, it became famous among sailors in the 18th century as a vital source of vitamin C to prevent scurvy, earning British sailors the nickname “limeys.”
